October RB1000

In a unique collaboration, October Guitars has teamed up with noted Actor/Singer/Songwriter Reggie Bannister to craft an electric guitar of the highest caliber. The end result is the October RB1000 Signature Model.

The main focus of the collaboration was to create an instrument that not only had a traditional look and feel, but to outfit the guitar with today's electronics and exotic tonewoods. Although some "corporate" manufacturers have touched on this idea, the concept of the RB1000 was to have Reggie's personal specifications hand crafted into a sharp, state-of-the-art instrument.

The RB1000 Reggie Bannister Signature guitar features a solid, one piece alder body for a warm, solid tone, capped with a ONE PIECE (not bookmatched) AAAAA figured quilted maple top for the ultimate style and beauty.  Furthermore, it boasts a solid hard rock maple neck with a premium Brazilian rosewood fretboard and abalone inlays. In further attention to detail, the RB1000 features brass hardware and abalone topped control knobs for the ultimate in looks and class.

The electronics in the RB1000 are again made to Reggie's personal specifications. He wanted to retain the traditional sound of single coil pickups, with an added growl when needed. The result is a single/single/humbucker configuration, with a 5 position switch and a push/pull coil tap for the greatest variety possible. One October "Memphis Grit" single coil (middle position) and one October "Trad" single coil (neck position) meet an October "Jailbreak"  humbucker  to allow an incredible combination of sounds. No matter what style of music you play, from country to jazz to straight rock & roll, the RB1000 performs light years beyond conventional "mass produced" instruments. It shines in each and every live situation. You'll never need to switch guitars again!

In addition, the RB1000 can also be upgraded to include the GraphTec GHOST piezo pickup system. This system contains individual piezo pickups in each bridge saddle, allowing you to have the sound of an acoustic guitar, with your electric. You can go from the solid sound of an electric guitar to the warm tones of an acoustic with the flick of a switch, or, blend the two sounds for something truly unique!  Reggie is an artist who composes and performs a wide variety of music, and needs one guitar that can do it all. That guitar finally exsists, and October Guitars is proud to have his name on it.

The RB1000 can be modified to individual preferences, and comes with a traditional tweed case with plush interior.
