In the past, custom inlay work was only for the small minority who could afford the high cost. Today, the availability of inlay materials have brought down the price of custom inlay to reasonable rates. Not only are today's inlay designs more complex and daring, but the wide variety of inlay materials that are available make the possibilities for designs almost endless. If you are going to have a custom guitar built, why not go the extra mile and have an inlay design that is truly your own?
